How This Works
Welcome to the SEED National Online Dialogues. The State Exchange on Employment and Disability (SEED) will be hosting five dialogues focused on each of the policy areas identified in the Work Matters report. The dialogues each will support one of the new SEED policy priorities. The dialogues will invite disability advocacy and service provider organizations, employer groups, state agencies and other key stakeholders to submit ideas and recommendations for policies related to the specific area of the Work Matters report being addressed. Please follow the step-by-step directions below to participate.
To participate in the SEED Online Dialogues, you must first Log In using your email and password from our past dialogues. If you are new to the dialogues and this is your first engagement, please Register. The Log In and Register links are located at the top right-hand corner of each dialogue page. Once you have logged in, you can access the SEED National Online Dialogue Topics by clicking on one of the dialogue topic buttons highlighted in the middle of the page. An image of the dialogue topic buttons are shown below:
You can post your ideas to the dialogue by clicking the Submit New Idea button. An image of the Submit New Idea button is shown below:
If you would like to submit an idea, click on the Submit New Idea button and then fill out the idea form. An image of the idea form is shown below:
- In the pop up box that appears on your screen, type in a title that describes your idea in the "Title" field.
- Type in the details you would like to include about your idea in the "Description" field.
- Click the "Submit" button to post your idea to the dialogue. Please note that the "Title," "Description," and "Topic," fields are mandatory, so you must complete all three items in order for your idea to successfully post.
To read an idea, simply click on the idea title. Each idea is individually listed in its own box under the "All" and "Popular Ideas" tabs.
To vote on an idea, simply click the up arrow for "yes" or the down arrow for "no". The arrows are located in the right upper corner above of each individual idea box as highlighted in the image below. To submit a comment, fill in the box below the idea and click submit.
